I'm happy to provide feedback on my experience with MarketPro. I chose to sell to your company rather than going the traditional route because my home needed a lot of work that I was not able to afford to do. When I met with Ray I was quite satisfied with the offer and really appreciated that I could move in my own time frame. Although it took longer than expected to find a new home, everyone I worked with along the way was very helpful, from my realtor James Chase, yourself, and folks at Closeline. It was especially helpful that you could arrange for me to remain in the house for 8 days post settlement in order to ready the new home and try to organize the old house for the move. I did have a bit of an issue with the moving company, but all in all this was a very positive experience and I'm glad that I chose MarketPro.

I am a investor that has never purchased a property
from Market Pro Home Buyers. I have signed up to receive their list of properties that are available. I am giving them a 2 star rating as a investor. Although they will find some properties that are way below market, most of there properties need more work then what they claim it needs to be. I've been at several of their open houses and I find that most of their properties need more work than they are claiming. Ex: Asking price $220k, cost to rehab $40k and after rehab value is $315k. Even if these numbers were accurate, by the time you pay Agent fees, closing and etc.. you pretty much are breaking even. My reality with them is that the repair cost is a lot higher than they claim. Using the above Example, the repair cost is more like $60k-$75k.
In defense, they will find some gems. Those get sold very quickly. For rehabbers, make sure when you do business with them, STICK TO YOUR NUMBERS, and DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE. If you don't, you will get burned.
